Searching for a  beautiful, comfortable bed and breakfast for your trip to Oregon Wine Country?  Located in the ‘great little town’ of Carlton, we are within walking distance of two dozen plus wine tasting rooms, as well as restaurants and shops.  One guest posted this review on tripadvisor.com after a recent visit:

“This place is a wonderful choice.  The location is great:  walking distance to everything and still on a quiet street for sweet dreams after your wine tasting (in a king, extra comfortable bed)!  The house has a cozy style and the owners are simply lovely!  We stayed in the Lavender Suite and it is impressive by its beauty and space.  The jacuzzi in our bedroom was absolutely relaxing…

“At breakfast, the owner cooked a delicious birthday cake for my boyfriend (and even packed it for our trip).  I was speechless!!!  Definitely recommend it to everybody.  There you can feel at home with friends, not in an impersonal place.  Loved it!!!!”

We invite you to experience genuine hospitality in Carlton!

Bird and nature lovers will find one of the region’s premier birding spots at Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge in Yamhill County.  The refuge includes “some of the best remaining examples of native upland prairie,” according to the Willamette Valley Bird Trail guide.  In addition to Baskett Slough, Fort Yamhill offers birding opportunities as well as a look back into life in the 1850s and 1860s.

More birding adventures await at Winter’s Hill Vineyard, where paths have been created for birdwatchers through an oak savannah and oak-fir forest.

When exploring the Willamette Valley’s natural beauty, plan your stay at our Carlton bed and breakfast.  It is the perfect home base for your birding adventures.
